Fullstack JavaScript Developer

Location: Underriver, Sevenoaks, Kent

Technologies

Our technological focus is building a responsive single-page application ready for use on any device, using the latest web technologies:

  • React.js and Redux for the front-end.
  • Bootstrap and Material Design concepts.
  • PHP and Laravel server side, and in other instances Node.js with Express.js.
  • Architecturally we favour composition with reusable, tested modules that can be used across projects, and thus use and contribute to various open source modules on npm. We also have a keen eye on functional programming.

Preferred Skills & Experience

  • Extensive JavaScript experience including ES2015+ syntax and features.
  • Experience using SPA JavaScript frameworks: React.js (preferable), AngularJS or Ember.js.
  • Experience with Node.js and Express, PHP and Laravel or other MVC frameworks, and GraphQL and ORM experience would be a plus.
  • Capable of picking up new web technologies and development languages quickly.

Extensive programming experience in similar technologies but different programming languages may also be acceptable. Additional background in web or other development in C#/++, Java/J2EE and/or Ruby/PHP/Python is a plus.

Flix Premiere Digital Marketing Manager

What you'll be doing

  • Working closely with Flix Premiere Management team to deliver regular reporting on social brand performance across Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, Instagram, the open web, and more to clients
  • Diving into social platform analytics, both native and third-party, to understand how our brands are performing and how they can improve
  • Creatively applying statistical methods to measure sales lift, audience resonance, and content performance
  • Act as a storyteller, translating complex analytical work into easily digested analysis and recommendations for client and account teams.
  • Responsible for channel planning across digital placements, including search and social
  • Execute, manage and optimize paid digital campaigns across a variety of platforms using native and third-party tools
  • Work collaboratively with management team to translate goals into campaign strategies that over-deliver on their needs

What you should bring to the table

  • Extreme experience with web analytics and social analytics and listening tools preferred (Google Analytics, Facebook Insights, Radian6, Sysomos, RadiumOne, LiveRamp)
  • Experience working in the agency/start-up/social space, working in statistical and data analysis is a big plus
  • Experience in bid management, campaign management/optimization, or digital media operations
  • A proven expertise in brand strategy, across a number of verticals, with the ability to translate strategy into smart and sound digital tactics
  • A strong understanding of processes, including creative production, paid media and digital builds - interest in optimizing those processes is a strong plus
  • You have a proven track record executing best-in-class digital media programs for brands
  • You have both media planning and buying experience and strong paid social and PPC expertise
  • Experience planning and buying across a wide variety of digital formats and types, including: high impact and rich media, paid social (including Facebook/Instagram, Snapchat, et al), mobile, video, native and programmatic/RTB, search/PPC
  • Knowledge of ad server technology and understands basic ad tag set up and structure (both for advertising assets/banners and web)
  • You have experience with both new technology and digital platforms:

Responsibilities / Skills

As a Brand Ambassador of Flix Premiere, you will be speaking directly to potential customers in order to grow your understanding of the platform, all while increasing brand awareness, generating an interest for potential new customers, and helping to differentiate our platform amongst our target market and competitors.

In this role, you will be speaking directly to moviegoers in the streets of London, with the goal of obtaining their email address to gift them a free movie ticket. This promotional campaign is seen as an opportunity to continue to raise awareness for Flix Premiere while offering value to the consumer by gifting a free brand new movie for the interested moviegoer.

During your tenure as a Flix Premiere Brand Ambassador you will be working in pairs (with a partner) to reach the goal of 100 moviegoers each per day who want to sign up for a free movie ticket. At the end of each day, you will communicate with your team manager on the performance, takeaways, and areas / ways to improve this campaign and your role amongst it.
