Stephanie Beatriz

Argentinian born Stephanie Beatriz began acting in 2009, and it only took her four years to land a major, notable role when she starred opposite Brie Larson and Rami Malek in the award-winning feature film Short Term 12. From there, Beatriz's star rose and rose. That same year, she was cast as Detective Rosa Diaz in the popular comedy series Brooklyn Nine-Nine.

An all-round actor, Beatriz has starred in comedies, dramas, musicals and done voice acting. She voiced the main character in the Disney film Encanto and had a starring role in the musical In The Heights. She is married to actor and filmmaker Brad Hoss, and they have one child together.
