Sophie Nélisse is a Canadian-born Actress who made her movie debut at the age of 10, winning awards for her role in the French-Canadian film Monsieur Lazhar (2012). Nélisse starred in Luc Picard's 2012 feature Esimésac (2012) and took the lead role in the movie adaption of The Book Thief.
In 2019, Nélisse starred in the action thriller Close and the horror 47 Meters Down: Uncaged. A year later, she took a starring role in the Paramount+ series Yellowjackets (2021). She is the older sister of actress Isabelle Nélisse, who played a younger version of her character in the indie film Worst Case, We Get Married (2017).
