Ray Winstone

Ray Winstone, born on February 19, 1957, in Hackney, London, is a distinguished British actor celebrated for his powerful and distinctive performances across film, television, and theater.

His early standout roles in Nil by Mouth (1997) and Sexy Beast (2000) earned him critical acclaim and established him as a formidable talent. Winstone had a string of notable roles in the early noughties including Cold Mountain (2003), King Arthur (2004) and The Proposition (2005).

In 2006, he starred in Martin Scorsese's crime thriller The Departed, and in 2011, he teamed up with the director again for Hugo. Winstone was also credited in Marvel's Black Widow in 2021.
