Emmy and Golden Globes nominated actress, producer and writer Natasha Lyonne has had a career spanning five decades. From the age of six, Lyonne has been in front of the camera in various roles. Her first noteworthy performance came in the 1998 film Slums of Beverly Hills. A year later, she starred in American Pie (1999) and Detroit Rock City (1999).
Lyonne started the 2000s with roles in sequels to two hit film franchises: Scary Movie 2 (2001) and American Pie 2 (2001). In 2004, she starred in the vampire action film Blade: Trinity, and in 2013, she joined the cast of the TV series Orange Is the New Black, picking up multiple award nominations as an actress and in an ensemble. Her success in TV continued when she co-created Russian Doll in 2019, receiving Primetime Emmy Award nominations for both her acting and writing.
