Matt Dillon

Matt Dillon's varied career has seen him excel in both independent cinema and Hollywood movies. In 1990, Dillon won an IFP Spirit Award for his gritty performance as a drug addict in Gus Van Sant's Drugstore Cowboy. Dillon also received Academy Award, Golden Globe and Screen Actors Guild award nominations for his performance in Crash (2004).

He has starred in hit comedies There's Something About Mary (1998) and You, Me and Dupree (2006) as well as gritty dramas The House That Jack Built (2018) directed by Lars von Trier and Capone (2020). Since his breakthrough performance in The Outsiders (1983), Matt Dillon has proved time and time again that he is one of the acting greats, with a career stretching four decades and counting.
