Jared Abrahamson comes from a northern Canadian mining town where the weather is harsh and living is tough. Abrahamson worked in the mines and trained in mixed martial arts before becoming an actor at the age of 20.
Since graduating from Vancouver Film School, Abrahamson has starred in multiple independent films in the US and Canada, including Texas Heart (2016) and Hello Destroyer (2016). In 2015, he appeared in two episodes of Fear the Walking Dead, and in 2018, he starred in the popular crime drama feature film American Animals.
Abrahamson went on to star in Topside (2020), a film festival favourite that picked up awards at Venice and SXSW Film Festival. Abrahamson continues his MMA training and competes professionally alongside his acting under the name Wolfblood Abrahamson.
