Derek de Lint
Derek de Lint was born on July 17, 1950 in The Hague, Zuid-Holland, Netherlands as Dick Hein de Lint. He studied photography and graphic design at the Kunstacademie in Enschede from 1970 to 1972, followed by two years of education at Kleinkunstacademie in Amsterdam. He began his acting career in 1975 and made a breakthrough with his roles in Rudolph van den Berg's Bastille (1984) and Fons Rademakers' The Assault (1986), two of the best Dutch films to emerge during the 80s. Since then he has appeared in numerous American and European films and TV series.
