David Cross is a Jewish-American actor, writer and comedian who is most well known for playing Tobias Fünke in the hilarious sitcom Arrested Development. Cross has played a variety of comedic and serious roles, including the voice of Minion in the animation Megamind to appearing as the American poet Allen Ginsberg in the Bob Dylan biopic I'm Not There.
Cross has made multiple stand-up comedy specials, including his HBO special The Pride Is Back. His stand-up often covers topics of politics, religion and satire. Cross' other credits during his prolific career include Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt , Kung Fu Panda and Michel Gondry's Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind.
