Musician Dave Grohl is best known for being the front-man of the rock band Foo Fighters and, before then, playing the drums for the grunge band Nirvana. Grohl has also drummed for the rock band Queens of the Stone Age and is good friends with Tenacious D, the two-person comedy rock band featuring Jack Black.
In 2001, Grohl played the role of the Demon in the music video for Tenacious D's breakout hit Tribute. He then played Satan in Tenacious D's comedy musical feature film Tenacious D in the Pick of Destiny in 2006. In 2013, Grohl directed and appeared in the music documentary Sound City, and in 2022, he starred alongside his Foo Fighters bandmates in the comedy horror Studio 666. Grohl is married to Jordyn Blum, and they have three children.
