Christian McKay

Christian McKay was born in Bury, Lancashire in England. He is an actor and classical musician. McKay received international acclaim for his performance of the title role in Richard Linklater's Me and Orson Welles (2008) and has subsequently appeared in many noteworthy films, including Rush (2013), Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy (2011), The Theory of Everything (2014) and Florence Foster Jenkins (2016).

McKay has appeared in multiple TV series, including the ITV show Grantchester and Cinemax's Warrior and has a credit in the critically acclaimed Mrs. Harris Goes to Paris (2022). McKay has been nominated for a BAFTA and has won awards at Austin Film Critics Association and San Francisco Film Critics Circle. He is married with two children.
