Billy Crudup, born July 8 1968, is an American actor from Manhasset, New York. He attended the University of North Carolina at Chapped Hill where he continued his passion for acting with the undergraduate acting company LAB! Theatre. He subsequently studied at the Graduate Acting Program at New York University where he earned a Master of Fine Arts degree in 1994. Crudup began acting in Without Limits. He became known for roles Spotlight, Almost Famous, and Big Fish. His supporting role in Mission: Impossible 3 secured his fame.
