Ana de la Reguera studied acting in her native country of Mexico, Spain and America. She had an award-winning run in Mexican theatre and starred in multiple Mexican TV shows during the '90s and '00s. In 2006, de la Reguera received her big break in American cinema, starring alongside Jack Black in Nacho Libre, and in 2010, she starred opposite Bruce Willis in the comedy Cop Out.
De la Reguera made notable appearances in Cowboys & Aliens (2011), Everything, Everything (2017) and Army of the Dead (2021). She has also starred in multiple American series, including Netflix's crime drama Narcos and the Prime Original Goliath. You can also see her in ¡Que viva México! (2022) and Army of the Dead: Lost Vegas (2022).
